The second chapter of Netflix‘s standout sci-fi / horror series catches up with the residents of Hawkins a year after the incidents in season 1. If these poor kids think they’ve survived the worst of it, they’ve got another thing coming. As you’d expect, poor Will (Noah Schnapp) isn’t doing to well, as visions of the Upside Down continue to plague his psyche. The thing is, there could be more to these visions than just PTSD. The door to the Upside Down’s been opened, so it’s only natural that things start to come through.
The slickly crafted new trailer, backed by Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” no less, offers up a lot of enticing new footage. And yes, Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) is back. Creators/showrunners The Duffer Brothers look to be continuing on in appropriate fashion.
Just a few months left! All nine episodes of Stranger Things season 2, also starring Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Charlie Heaton, David Harbour, Dacre Montgomery, Sadie Sink, and Winona Ryder, will be hitting Netflix on October 27.
It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.
