Strangerland Trailer: Nicole Kidman & Joseph Fiennes Can’t Find Their Daughter

Nicole Kidman and Joseph Fiennes play the devastated parents of two missing teenage kids in Strangerland, a dramatic thriller set in the remote Australian desert town of Nathgari.

The first Strangerland trailer is a strong one, with drama and suspicious activity thrust forward in every shot. Could these parents have something to do with the disappearance of their children?

Kidman and Fiennes look to give good performances and the directorial debut of short film/documentary filmmaker Kim Farrant looks visually potent. We’re more than a little intrigued as to what the outcomes will be here, and we’re always digging the addition of Hugo Weaving. Yep, we’re in.

We’re saying that two teenagers go missing because of the synopsis, the trailer doesn’t really mention the boy for some reason.

Official synopsis for Strangerland:
