A visually striking collaboration between three notable creatives is heading to the big screen — for one night only. Take a look at the trailer above and get the details below.
Tall Tales, an immersive visual album from English producer Mark Pritchard, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke, and Australian visual artist Jonathan Zawada, is set to screen globally in cinemas on May 8 — the day before the project’s official release. The unique cinematic experience blends experimental music with surreal, digitally-rendered imagery, marking the trio’s debut full-length collaboration after years in development.
Described as a “modern fairy tale,” Tall Tales explores themes of nature, technology, and the human cost of progress. The film is said to unfold across a dreamlike world of “rising tides, robotic arms, and iridescent skies,” where haunting vocals and ambient soundscapes meet imagery of kings, queens, and delivery drones.

The audio-visual project comes via WARP Records and is the result of a decade-long creative partnership between the three artists. While the experience has existed in segments and installations, this marks its first full-length theatrical form.
In Australia, Tall Tales will screen in a number of cinemas nationwide. Note that some venues will also host additional dates or Q&A sessions. Get the listing of Aussie cinemas below and more details of screenings around the world can be found on the official site HERE.
