Check out the first trailer, poster and images for The Age of Adaline, an upcoming fantasy drama starring Blake Lively.
Lively plays a woman who mysteriously remains 29 years old after a near death experience. As those around her age, she ensures that she lives a solitary existence. But things get complicated when she begins falling for Ellis Jones (Michiel Huisman).
This could very easily be a wannabe little tear-jerker, a poor cousin to the stylings of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, but The Age of Adaline trailer actually doesn’t look half bad. The film appears to be beautifully shot and the story could very well hit those emotional notes. We’re quite intrigued.
The Age of Adaline also stars Harrison Ford and Kathy Baker. Directed by Lee Toland Krieger, whose previous features include The Vicious Kind and Celeste & Jesse Forever.
