A new trailer has arrived for upcoming Netflix film The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, directed by Joel and Ethan Coen (No Country for Old Men, Fargo, The Big Lebowski).
The Coen’s have crafted an anthology film here, a six-part Western with a series of tales about the American frontier. There’s a great cast, including Tim Blake Nelson as the titular character, James Franco, Brendan Gleeson, Liam Neeson, Zoe Kazan and Tom Waits, among others. And while there’s no Roger Deakins (incredible work on No Country) behind the lens, it certainly looks like the cinematography is in the right hands with five-time Oscar nominee Bruno Delbonnel (Amélie, Inside Llewyn Davis). Also among the creative talent here is two-time Oscar-nominated composer and long-time Coens collaborator Carter Burwell (True Grit, Carol, Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri). Yeah, we can’t wait.
The Ballad of Buster Scruggs will be hitting Netflix on November 16 and will have a limited theatrical run in the US from November 8.
