Take a look at the new Batmobile!
After sharing a red-lit screen test of Robert Pattinson in the new outfit (scroll down), Matt Reeves, director of the upcoming DC film The Batman, has shared official images of the Caped Crusader’s latest vehicle. Pattinson will be taking corners with this bad-ass looking automobile, which is decidedly different from the versions we’ve seen on screen before.

It’s essentially a souped-up, stylised muscle car, going the vintage route; a bit of a Plymouth or Barracuda design with oh-so sleek additions. Some die-hard purists may be up in arms, but I dig it. That engine just screams power and from behind the car has an almost serpent/skull look. It’s certainly more street, which I’m completely cool with after the ultra-weaponised tech we’ve already had in previous big-screen designs. I wonder if he’ll be racing for pinks?

The cast also includes Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle / Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton / Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot / Penguin.
The Batman will be arriving in Australia on June 24 and hitting the U.S. on June 25, 2021.
