‘The Boys’ Season 2 Gets a Bloody Wild Trailer

Amazon Studios

Our first look at The Boys season 2 has arrived.

Amazon unveiled an official teaser trailer at Brazil’s Comic Con Experience, and the marketing piece has now been released online. Season 1 was downright awesome; a very funny, very violent, and completely in-your-face series about superheroes behaving badly and the gang that wants to bring ’em down. Season 2, by the looks of the bloody mayhem in this trailer, will be following suit.

Season 1 left off on quite a few cliffhangers, including Billy Butcher (Karl Urban) receiving one hell of a surprise relating to his lost wife and Homelander (Antony Starr), the saving of A-Train (Jessie T. Usher), and a brutal shake-up in the leadership of Vought International.

The Boys season 2 will be hitting Amazon Prime Video in 2020. Watch the red band trailer below…

The Boys is an irreverent take on what happens when superheroes, who are as popular as celebrities, as influential as politicians and as revered as Gods, abuse their superpowers rather than use them for good. It’s the powerless against the super powerful as The Boys embark on a heroic quest to expose the truth about “The Seven”, and their formidable Vought backing.
