Check out the full-length official trailer that Amazon Studios has unleashed for the highly-anticipated third season of The Boys.
Chapter three will be picking up around a year after the crazy events of season two. Things have been, surprisingly, calm over the year, with Homelander (Antony Starr) more or less subdued and even Butcher (Karl Urban) being a good boy now working for the government – with Hughie (Jack Quaid), of all people, supervising him. BUT, this is The Boys, so screw all that calmness. When The Boys learn of a mysterious new Anti-Supe weapon, the team is again on a collision path with the Seven. A war is soon underway, and events will also be bringing in the first Superhero: Soldier Boy, played by Jensen Ackles (Supernatural).
As you can see below, plenty of diabolical mayhem on the way in the new season, including Butcher with powers of his own thanks to a 24-hour lasting serum. Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso) isn’t happy with Butcher’s decision to take it. “The whole point of what we do is that no one should have that kind of power,” he tells him. Butcher responds: “For once, I’ll level the f**kin’ playing field.”
The Boys season 3, also starring Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capone, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, and Claudia Doumit, returns to Amazon Prime Video with a three-episode drop on June 3rd, followed by one additional episode each subsequent Friday until the season finale on Friday, July 8th.
