‘The Crew’ Trailer: Kevin James Works at NASCAR in Netflix Sitcom


Netflix has released the trailer for The Crew, the latest sitcom led by Kevin James.

The series has James playing the NASCAR crew chief for the fictional Bobby Spencer Racing team. When the owner steps down and passes the team off to his daughter Catherine (Jillian Mueller, The Last O.G.), James has to protect himself and his crew from her attempts to modernise the team.

Freddie Stroma, Sarah Stiles, Gary Anthony Williams and Dan Ahdoot also star in The Crew, with Paris Berelc and Bruce McGill making guest star appearances.

Longtime television writer and producer Jeff Lowell, whose credits include The Ranch, Two and a Half Men, and Spin City, is the show’s writer, showrunner and executive producer. All episodes were directed by Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2 helmer Andy Fickman, who is also executive producing alongside James, Jeff Sussman (The King of Queens, Paul Blart) and Todd Garner (Tag, Isn’t It Romantic, Mortal Kombat).
