‘The Crown’ Season 4 Trailer Brings in Princess Diana & Margaret Thatcher

“Here, is the stuff of which fairytales are made…”

The official teaser trailer has arrived for The Crown season 4. The next chapter of Netflix’s Royal family drama looks to be a big one, introducing a number of new historical figures to the series such as Lady Diana Spencer (played by Emma Corrin, Pennyworth) and Margaret Thatcher (Gillian Anderson).

Princess Diana will become a big part of The Crown over the next few seasons. Aussie star Elizabeth Debicki will take on the role for seasons 5 and 6, the latter of which will mark the show’s end.

The Crown season 4, with Olivia Colman continuing on as the Queen, Tobias Menzies as Prince Philip, Josh O’Connor as Prince Charles, and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret, among others, will be streaming on Netflix from November 15th.

Official synopsis for The Crown season 4:

As the 1970s are drawing to a close, Queen Elizabeth (Olivia Colman) and her family find themselves preoccupied with safeguarding the line of succession by securing an appropriate bride for Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor), who is still unmarried at 30. While Charles’ romance with a young Lady Diana Spencer (Emma Corrin) provides a much-needed fairytale to unite the British people, as the transformation from teenager to Princess of Wales takes place, it is anything but a fairy tale for Diana.
