Clive Owen reprises his role as The Driver in The Escape, a new short film backed by BMW and directed & co-written by Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium).

In 2001 and 2002 BMW brought in a series of standout directors, including Alejandro González Iñárritu, Ang Lee and Tony Scott, to each craft a short in a series of eight short films starring Owen as a BMW-driving transporter of sorts. They were great pieces, each showcasing the style of their filmmaker. BMW Films is back at it, bringing Owen with actors Jon Bernthal, Dakota Fanning and Vera Farmiga in an action-packed, slickly produced 13-minute outing.

The film tells of a mercenary (Jon Bernthal) who is sneaking out the last living clone (Dakota Fanning) to a mysterious buyer. He chose the wrong driver.
