Bruce Willis sci-fi adventure The Fifth Element has been given the Honest Trailer treatment.
Can you believe it’s been a whopping 23 years since this film was in cinemas?! The 1997 Bruce Willis and Milla Jovovich action sci-fi film from director Luc Besson (Leon: The Professional, La Femme Nikita, Lucy) received mixed reviews at the time, but has gone on to become a beloved pic for many.
It was, as this amusing new Honest Trailer from the Screen Junkies YouTube channel points out, utterly bonkers – but it also has some highly creative sci-fi ideas, an on-point Willis, a yelling Gary Oldman, and Chris Tucker going all-in (for better or worse) as Ruby. And oh-boy was it horny! Come to think about it, I do remember being a little confused as a kid. And wait, the hero and villain never actually meet??
“The most fun of Luc Besson’s child-like-traumatised-but-badass-lady-sex-object series…”
