Shocktillyoudrop has released the first picture from Eli Roth’s next film as director The Green Inferno.
The film follows a group of student activists from New York who travel to Peru to stage a protest. Their plane crash lands in the Peruvian jungle and they are captured by a tribe of cannibals. It’s safe to assume that blood and guts ensue.
Eli Roth hasn’t directed a movie since the mediocre Hostel: Part II (we won’t count Nation’s Pride, the Nazi “film” he directed for Inglourious Basterds) but he’s managed to hold on to a following over the years. He’s co-written this with Guillermo Amoedo, who he wrote Aftershock with. He might be going for a Cannibal Holocaust style shocker here.
