The First Trailer for Aronofsky’s Noah

The first trailer has been released for Darren Aronofsky’s Noah, starring Russell Crowe as the biblical figure. This looks pretty epic, certainly something different from what we’re used to seeing from the director of Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler and Black Swan. There isn’t too much that surprises in the trailer, but it does appear to be a solid film. A great cast, beautiful Icelandic locations and a ton of grand-looking effects makes this look like a decent disaster epic. Hopefully, Aronofsky’s signature level of darkness and grittiness remains prevalent throughout. Earlier news suggested that the director may be clashing with the studios over the film’s final cut. Fingers crossed they found a decent middle-ground.

Check out the U.K. poster for Noah underneath the trailer.
