Tony Danza and singer-turned-actor Josh Grobin star in the Netflix comedy series The Good Cop.
Based on the Israeli police comedy of the same name, The Good Cop finds Who’s the Boss? star Danza playing a disgraced, former cop. Grobin plays his son, an earnest, honest cop. “Odd couple” comedy ensues as they become unofficial partners, with this bad-ass father offering street-wise advice to his overly-cautious, good-boy son. It’s an old-school kind of show, one that you’ll know is right for you or not pretty quickly from the trailer below.
The show comes from Andy Breckman, creator of Monk, and also stars Monica Barbaro, Isiah Whitlock Jr, and Bill Kottkamp. All 10 episodes hit Netflix on September 21.
