The first trailer for The Good Fight has made its way online, giving us our first look at the upcoming spinoff of the Julianna Margulies-starring drama series The Good Wife.

Seeing as Alicia Florrick’s story didn’t wrap in a way that made the show’s many fans very happy, some compensation of sorts could be on the way with what looks like a tense, twist-filled spinoff. The Good Fight will continue on a year after The Good Wife’s finale, and will focus on a young lawyer (Game of Thrones actress Rose Leslie) and her mentor Diane Lockhart (a returning Christine Baranski) as they deal with being almost completely ruined by a big financial scam. They’re forced out of Lockhart & Lee and head to one of Chicago’s pre-eminent law firms, joining Lucca Quinn (a returning Cush Jumbo) in the process.

The Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King continue on behind this new drama, which will also bring back Sarah Steele – as a regular – and Zach Grenier, Jerry Adler and Gary Cole, the latter of which will guest star.

The Good Fight, also starring Delroy Lindo, Justin Bartha, Erica Tazel, Paul Guilfoyle and Bernadette Peters, will premiere on February 19 on CBS.
