There’s only around four months left until the final film in the Hunger Games franchise is released, and you can already feel those box office cash registers warming up.
A big new trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 was just unveiled exclusively at Comic-Con, but it’s yet to officially hit the net. While it may not be as exciting as an all-out trailer, this is still better than nothing. The exciting new teaser sees our heroine Katniss, looking quite powerful in red gear, leading a determined army. District 13 is about to be engaged in an all-out revolution against the autocratic Capitol.
As soon as that big trailer officially (we’ll try hold off from putting up squint-worthy, hand-held, mobile footage) comes out, we’ll have it up.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Liam Hemsworth, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Stanley Tucci, Donald Sutherland, Julianne Moore, Natalie Dormer, and Evan Ross, hits Australia on November 19 and the U.S. on November 20.
Official synopsis for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2:
With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow [Donald Sutherland] in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale [Liam Hemsworth], Finnick [Sam Claflin], and Peeta [Josh Hutcherson] – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
