‘The Irregulars’: New Trailer Arrives for Netflix’s Supernatural, Sherlockian Series

Check out the official trailer that’s arrived for The Irregulars, Netflix‘s upcoming series that offers a different angle on Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson.

And by different angle, we mean, like, not really on them. The Victorian London-set supernatural mystery series follows a gang of troubled street teens who are manipulated into solving crimes for the sinister (?) Doctor Watson, played by The Witcher‘s Royce Pierreson, and his mysterious and elusive business partner, Sherlock Holmes (Killing Eve‘s Henry Lloyd-Hughes). And these aren’t any old crimes; these are cases of the stop-the-end-of-humanity-because-of-demons-from-a-hellish-otherworld variety.

The Baker Street Irregulars, by the way, where characters that appeared in three Sherlock Holmes stories by author Arthur Conan Doyle. They are a group of street boys who Holmes employs as intelligence agents.

As I said with the show’s teaser trailer, this certainly looks to have the elements needed for another Netflix hit. Fingers crossed we’ve got a binge-worthy show here.

Not long to find out! The Irregulars, created by Tom Bidwill (2018’s Watership Down animated mini-series) and also starring Clarke Peters, Thaddea Graham, Darci Shaw, Jojo Macari, and McKell David, among others, will premiere on Netflix on March 26th.
