A new trailer has arrived for The King’s Man, reminding us that this film exists and reiterating that it is still indeed heading to cinemas.
Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle director Matthew Vaughn returns at the helm for this one, a prequel that takes us to the early days of this spy organisation. The cast includes Ralph Fiennes, Rhys Ifans, Gemma Arterton, Matthew Goode, Tom Hollander, and Djimon Hounsou, among others.
This film has been circling a release for a while now. It was shot without much publicity in early 2019 and – before the Fox-to-Disney sell – had been scheduled to hit cinemas in November of 2019 before delayed. As a fan of the first film (I was let down by the second), it’s nice to know that there’s a big chance (who knows at this point) that the third film in Vaughn’s franchise can be seen on the big screen. It looks like fun.
The King’s Man, also starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Harris Dickinson, Daniel Brühl, and Charles Dance, will be hitting Australian cinemas on September 17 and U.S. cinemas on September 18.
