Blake Lively is a destructive woman on a path of vengeance in the upcoming action-thriller The Rhythm Section.
The trailer has arrived for the film, which follows Stephanie Patrick’s (Lively) dark journey after she discovers the plane crash that killed her family was no accident. The film also stars Jude Law and Sterling K. Brown.
It’s a good trailer, keeping the plot details hidden but highlighting what looks like a gritty film with a strong lead turn. We’re in. The film is directed by Reed Morano, who’s previously directed small films Meadowland and I Think We’re Alone Now and some high-profile TV such as The Handmaid’s Tale and Power. It’s the first credit for screenwriter Mark Burnell.
The Rhythm Section will open in the US on January 31 and arrives in Australia on February 20, 2020.
