Netflix

Check out the first trailer released for upcoming Netflix series The Society.

Described by Netflix as a modern take on 1954 dystopian novel Lord of the Flies, the series follows a group of teenagers who find themselves mysteriously transported to a facsimile of their wealthy New England town. With no trace of their parents, it’s up to them to establish order and form alliances if they want to survive. No prizes for guessing that things end up going anything but smoothly.

The series comes from Christopher Keyser (Party of Five, Tyrant) and Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man, 500 Days of Summer), and stars Rachel Keller, Kathryn Newton, Alex Fitzalan, Kristine Froseth, Jacques Colimon, Sean Berdy and Toby Wallace, among many others.

All ten episodes hit Netflix on May 10.
