HBO

Nicole Kidman reunites with Big Little Lies creator/writer David E. Kelly for The Undoing, an upcoming limited series heading to HBO.

Based on the 2014 novel You Should Have Known by author Jean Hanff Korelitz, the series has Kidman playing a successful therapist whose ideal life – with a successful husband (Hugh Grant) and young son (Noah Jupe) – begins to spiral after a violent death and a chain of revelations.

The Night Manager and Bird Box helmer Sussane Bier directs all six episodes of the series, which also stars Donald Sutherland, Edgar Ramirez, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Matilda De Angelis, Lily Rabe, Noma Dumezweni and Sofie Gråbøl. Could be another hit TV project for Kelly and Kidman, the latter of whom is also attached as executive producer.

The Undoing premieres on HBO on May 10.
