A new trailer has been released for The Voices, an upcoming dark comedy starring Ryan Reynolds.
The Voices sees Reynolds play Jerry, a generally likeable guy who stumbles into the role of a killer thanks to his evil talking cat and benevolent talking dog.
Yep, that’s the plot, and the trailer below shows off what looks like an insane and very funny mish-mash of genres.
Marjane Satrapi, director of the fantastic Oscar-nominated animated drama Persepolis, is at the helm of this horror-comedy, working off a script by Paranormal Activity 2 screenwriter Michael R. Perry.
Gemma Arterton, Anna Kendrick and Jacki Weaver also star.

THE VOICES is a genre-bending film which centers around Jerry, a lovable but disturbed factory worker who yearns for the attention of a woman in accounting. When their relationship takes a sudden turn, we follow Jerry’s perspective as his talking pets, a sinister cat and benevolent dog, lead him down a fantastical, murderous path.
