Prime Video has released the official trailer for The Wrecking Crew, a Hawaii-set action comedy teaming up Jason Momoa and Dave Bautista as estranged half-brothers. It looks like a fun ride with plenty of action and a lively clash of energies between the two, even if the trailer arguably shows a bit too much of the mayhem along the way. The plot follows Jonny (Momoa) and James (Bautista) reuniting after their father’s mysterious death. As they start pulling at the thread, secrets surface, loyalties wobble, and the trail points to a conspiracy that could tear their family apart. Stephen Root’s sergeant offers James a warning: “I guarantee you’ll end up poking a bear that doesn’t want to be poked.” James’ response: “Take my word for it when I tell you that I’m the bear.” Cue the chases, shootouts, and brawls, along with brotherly jabs. “You got fat,” James tells Jonny. “You got old,” Jonny shoots back.

The supporting cast includes Claes Bang (The Square), Temuera Morrison (The Book of Boba Fett), Jacob Batalon (Spider-Man: No Way Home), Frankie Adams (The Expanse), Miyavi (Unbroken), and Morena Baccarin (Deadpool).
The film is directed by Ángel Manuel Soto, following his work on Blue Beetle and Charm City Kings, with a script by Jonathan Tropper, who previously collaborated with Momoa on See. Both stars also serve as producers alongside Jeff Fierson, Matt Reeves, and Lynn Harris.
The Wrecking Crew will be released on Prime Video on January 28.
