A new clip from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts has arrived thanks to Paramount Pictures.
The scene finds the Autobots – including Optimus Prime (longtime Optimus Prime voice Peter Cullen continuing in the role) – coming face to face with the Maximals, a new faction of Tranformer that includes the similarly-named Optimus Primal (voiced by Ron Perlman). Take a look at the clip above.
The seventh installment in the Transformers film series, Rise of the Beasts is set in the ’90s and follows electronics expert Noah (Anthony Ramos) and artifact researcher Elena (Dominique Fishback). The two find themselves caught in an ancient conflict with the Autobots that ties in with three factions of the Transformers race: the Maximals, the Predacons and the Terrorcons.
The film is directed by Steven Caple Jr. (Creed II) and has a cast that includes Tobe Nwigwe, Peter Dinklage, Michelle Yeoh, Liza Koshy, John DiMaggio, David Sobolov, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Pete Davidson, and Cristo Fernández.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts opens in the U.S. on June 8th and arrives in Australian cinemas June 22nd.
