‘Tribes of Europa’ Trailer Unveils Netflix’s New Post-Apocalyptic German Series from the Producers of ‘Dark’

The future: It’s rarely ever good in shows and movies, is it?

Netflix has released the trailer for post-apocalyptic German series Tribes of Europa, which comes from the producers of Netflix’s time-travelling German hit Dark.

This six-episode series is set in 2074. In the wake of a mysterious global disaster, war rages between the Tribes that have emerged from the wreckage of Europe. Three siblings from the peaceful Origines tribe – Kiano (Emilio Sakraya), Liv (Henriette Confurius) and Elja (David Ali Rashed) – are separated and forced to forge their own paths in an action-packed fight for the future of this new Europa.

The trailer is certainly reminiscent of The 100 – it even looks like they borrowed some of the costumes and sets once that show was done with them. Not a bad thing, mind you, as that series has plenty of fans. Fingers crossed there’s a good one to binge here.

Tribes of Europa, created by Philip Koch (Friend Request, Outside the Box), will be streaming on Netflix from February 19th.
