Another day, another heap of Netflix goodness.
The streaming juggernaut has unveiled the official trailer for Triple Frontier, an upcoming action-thriller boasting a cast that includes Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Garrett Hudlund, Charlie Hunnam and Pedro Pascal. Yeah, we’re automatically in.
The film follows five former Special Forces operatives that decide to reunite to rob a deadly cartel in a sparsely populated multi-border zone of South America, which the title refers to. The mission unleashes a chain of unintended consequences that test their loyalties.
This one was circling a start back in 2010, with director Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty) and actors Tom Hanks, Leonardo DiCaprio, Johnny Depp, Mark Walberg, Tom Hardy and Channing Tatum associated with it at one point or another.
Margin Call, All is Lost and A Most Violent Year helmer J.C. Chandor directed this one, from a screenplay he co-wrote with Mark Boal (The Hurt Locker).
Triple Frontier, also starring Adria Arjona, Reynaldo Gallegos, and Sheila Vand, will be hitting Netflix and select US in March 2019.
