‘Vampires vs. the Bronx’ Trailer: Kids Take on Blood Suckers in Fun-Looking Netflix Film

Check out the trailer that’s dropped for Vampires vs. the Bronx, a fun-looking horror-adventure heading to Netflix in October.

It’s a straightforward plot: A group of young friends from the Bronx fight to save their neighbourhood from a band of vampires. It certainly looks like a good time, bringing to mind the highly entertaining kids vs. aliens film that was 2011’s Attack the Block. There are some obvious discussion pieces on social topics to be had here, too.

The film is directed and co-written by Oz Rodriguez, making his sophomore feature following comedy shorts and television (Saturday Night Live, The Last Man on Earth) and ill-received 2016 comedy Brother Nature. There’s a sizeable cast, including Jaden Michael, Gerald W. Jones III, Gregory Diaz IV, Sarah Gadon, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Shea Whigham, Coco Jones, and Zoe Saldana, among others.

Looking forward to it. Vampires vs. the Bronx will be streaming on Netflix from October 2nd.
