Two teenage sisters find themselves in one hell of a situation when a parasitic virus breaks out in their U.S. town.
That’s the premise for Viral, an upcoming horror-thriller starring Analeigh Tipton, Sofia Black-D’Elia and Michael Kelly. Take a look at the trailer below, which offers up some very familiar zombie/infection movie tropes, but teases a film that could be energetic enough to warrant a look.
Directed by Ariel Schulman and Henry Joost, the filmmaking duo behind the Catfish documentary, Paranormal Activity 3 & 4, and the upcoming thriller Nerve.
Viral will be hitting select U.S. cinemas on July 29, the same day it hits U.S. Digital HD. August 2 will mark the film’s U.S. DVD and On Demand release.
