HBO Max has released the trailer for Wahl Street, an amusingly titled upcoming documentary series following Mark Wahlberg on his incredibly busy day-to-day.
“I think it’s important to really have a career where you can do different things and not be put into a box,” says Wahlberg in the trailer. Indeed, the two-time Oscar nominee is not only a big screen superstar, he’s a co-owner of restaurant chain Whalburgers, which he co-owns with his brothers Donnie and Paul; has a stake in fitness franchise F45; and is a part owner of at least four car dealerships; among various other things.
It’s a well-crafted trailer, showcasing what looks like an engrossing docuseries on a hugely ambitious individual. It also looks to be perfect for those after motivation porn; Dwayne Johnson, you may have competition on your hands.
Wahl Street, a 6-episode docuseries, will premiere on HBO Max on April 15th.
