Trump may have some competition on his hands.

Breaking news: Dr. Evil has been fired from Trump’s cabinet. So begins a new sketch aired on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“Naturally, I was going to be secretary of evil… but Steve Bannon got that job,” said Dr. Evil, with Mike Myers back in the role as the Austin Powers villain.

As it turns out, Dr. Evil has been the one behind some of Trump’s ideas, such as building the wall. “But I wanted it to be a mote filled with spiky blowfish.”

Other jabs were directed at Ben Carlson, the “creepy A F” Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, and, of course, that guy behind Facebook.

“I’d also like to announce my candidacy for President,” said Dr. Evil. “Plus, I’ve found the perfect running mate, the only man that’s more hated right now than Donald Trump.” Cue a campaign banner reading “Evil, Zuckerberg, 2020.”

Regarding the possibility of a fourth Austin Powers, well, there have been rumours of that for sometime.

“We have talked about [making a fourth movie] for 15 years,” director Jay Roach told THR last year. “We have also always said we don’t want to do it unless we came up with something that lived up to the concepts in our mind. Until Mike feels like he has a concept that earns a fourth, it won’t happen. But if it did, we have all agreed that we would be delighted to get back into it.”

Myers will next be seen in the Margot Robbie thriller Terminal.
