The stars of Wolf Creek season 2 were in attendance at the lavish world premiere that took place at Palace Cinemas Central in Sydney overnight.

Stars John Jarratt, Tess Haubrich, Laura Wheelwright, Stephen Hunter, Jason Chong, Elsa Cocquerel, Elijah Williams, and Julian Pulvermacher were in attendance, as was filmmaker Greg McLean (who crafted the original Wolf Creek film and is creator/showrunner/director on the series) and producer Lisa Scott.

The second chapter of the Stan Original series finds Aussie serial killer Mick Taylor (Jarratt, once again stealing the show) back doing what he does best: targeting tourists in the Outback. This time, he has a bus load of explorers in his sights.

“Season one of Wolf Creek was a worldwide smash hit, thrilling and delighting Stan subscribers in equal measure, as well asbreaking records,” Nick Forward, Stan’s Chief Content Officer, said in a statement. “Season two is a breath-taking return to the intimate, character-driven style of the original Wolf Creek movie, set over six hour-long episodes of premium drama.”

All six episodes of Wolf Creek‘s second season will be hitting Stan on December 15.
