A bonus scene from Wonder Woman has been unveiled ahead of the film’s home entertainment release.
Among the bonus features on the DVD & Blu-ray release, which will include making-of docos, blooper reels and more, is this sequence titled ‘Epilogue: Etta’s Mission’. The scene finds Lucy Fry’s Etta informing Saïd Taghmaoui’s Sameer, Ewen Bremner’s Charlie, and Eugene Brave Rock’s Chief Napi of their next top secret mission: recovering a “very old” and “very powerful” artefact and delivering it to the Americans.
“It was conceived after we wrapped,” director Patty Jenkins explained to Yahoo! Movies, the outlet that debuted the clip exclusively. “[…] Every single one of us wished that Etta was in every scene, as well as the team. We were like, ‘Can we just put them in everything?’ They were just so great! So [the epilogue] was kind of a shared delight.”
Whether or not the Wonder Woman sequel will follow Etta and the team on this mysterious new mission is being kept under wraps. And as for what that artefact could be, there’s a chance it is one of the Motherboxes set to play a role in Justice League.
