‘You’ Season 2 Trailer: His Target is in Los Angeles This Time Around

Netflix

Joe – or is it Will this time? – is back at it, this time becoming dangerously infatuated with a young woman in the city of angels, Los Angeles.

Netflix has released the official trailer for the upcoming second season of You. Penn Badgley returns as the charismatic and oh-so unstable serial killer, who is in a new city, with a new identity, and with a new girl in his sights. The Haunting of Hill House actress Victoria Pedretti plays the new target: Love Quinn.

With the promising new trailer below, it appears that we’re going to be in for a doozy of a second chapter. And to think that this show could have been lost in the crowd. The first season aired on Lifetime and had a relatively small audience, until Netflix released it and it drew a ton of attention and critical praise.

You season 2 will be hitting Netflix on December 26.

Official synopsis for You season 2:

When we last saw Joe (Penn Badgley) his heart was tragically broken and his past just caught up with him in the form of long-lost ex-girlfriend Candace (Ambyr Childers) — a woman now hell-bent on teaching him a lesson. Season two finds him on the run from Candace — leaving New York City for his own personal hell: Los Angeles. He’s fresh out of an intense relationship that ended in murder. The last thing he expects is to meet an incredible new woman but he’s falling in love again — with a woman named Love (Victoria Pedretti). Is history repeating? Or will this time be the real thing? Joe’s just crazy enough to risk finding out.
