There isn’t long until the 2016 Oscar winners are announced, and our predictions are right here.
Looking at where the critics have been leaning, where recent award ceremonies have bestowed their gongs, and basically what our movie-obsessed brains have come up with, we’ve managed to wittle down the nominees to the films and individuals we think will go home with trophies.
Our money is on Spotlight for Best Picture, although The Revenant and The Big Short have damn good odds, Alejandro G. Iñárritu taking home his second Best Director gong in a row, Leonardo DiCaprio finally earning a win, Brie Larson taking it home for Room, and Alicia Vikander and Sylvester Stallone wining their respective Supporting nods.
Check out our complete list of predictions below and be sure to let us know how correct/incorrect you think we are.
