The official trailer has arrived for All the Old Knives, a Chris Pine and Thandiwe Newton-starring thriller lined up for an Amazon Prime Video release in April.

Based on the 2015 novel of the same name by Olen Steinhauer, All the Old Knives has Pine playing veteran operative Henry Pelham, assigned to root out the CIA mole who leaked vital information that cost over 100 people their lives. His digging takes him from Austria to England to California, where he is reunited with his one-time colleague and ex-lover Celia Harrison (Newton). As the investigation unfolds, the lines between their passionate connection and their jobs become blurred.

A solid-looking thriller here, directed by Danish filmmaker Janus Metz (Borg McEnroe, Armadillo) and with Steinhauer, who was also behind CIA drama series Berlin Station, writing the screenplay adaptation of his own novel. Further class provided with co-stars Laurence Fishburne and Jonathan Pryce.

All the Old Knives will begin streaming on Amazon Prime Video and opens in limited U.S. cinemas on April 8th.
