The teaser trailer has arrived for Andor, another live-action series in the Star Wars universe, heading to Disney+ this August.

The series will be focusing on Cassian Andor, the pilot and intelligence officer we met in 2016’s Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Diego Luna reprises the role in a story that serves as a Rogue One prequel, taking us back to Cassian discovering the difference he can make as people and planets become involved in the burgeoning rebellion against the Empire. In an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue, Cassian embarks on a path that will eventually turn him into a rebel hero.

The series also stars Genevieve O’Reilly (reprising her role as senator Mon Mothma), Stellan SkarsgÃ¥rd, Adria Arjona, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, and Kyle Soller.

The series was created by Tony Gilroy, the Michael Clayton and Bourne Legacy director who was hired for further writing and reshoots on Rogue One, as well as serving as second-unit director. Luna is on the executive producer team, which also includes Kathleen Kennedy, Sanne Wohlenberg, and Michelle Rejwan.

Additionally, there’s some great news if you’re already pumped for this series: a second season of Andor has already been confirmed! “This first season is about him becoming a revolutionary,” Gilroy told Vanity Fair, “and the second 12 episodes take him into Rogue One.” Cameras on the second season will begin rolling in November.

Andor‘s first 12-episode season will be launching on Disney+ with the first two episodes on August 31st.
