First ‘Bring Her Back’ Trailer Teases the Next Horror Film from ‘Talk to Me’ Filmmakers Danny & Michael Philippou

The first teaser trailer has arrived for upcoming horror film Bring Her Back, the sophomore feature from Aussie Talk to Me filmmakers Danny and Michael Philippou. Watch it above and take a look at the film’s first poster below.

While details have been mostly kept under wraps, we do have the following logline: A brother and sister uncover a terrifying ritual at the secluded home of their new foster mother.

The teaser offers a taste of the film’s eerie atmosphere, showcasing haunting imagery and a creeping sense of unease. The twin filmmakers—who first gained a following as RackaRacka, known for their horror-comedy YouTube videos—look to have another unsettling ride in store here.

The film’s cast includes two-time Oscar nominee Sally Hawkins (The Shape of Water, Paddington), Billy Barratt (Kraven the Hunter), Jonah Wren Phillips (How to Make Gravy), and newcomer Sora Wong. The Philippous co-wrote the script with Bill Hinzman and reunited with Talk to Me producers Samantha Jennings and Kristina Ceyton of Causeway Films. Production took place in Adelaide, South Australia.

Talk to Me was a major hit in 2023, premiering to rave reviews at Sundance before opening wide and earning over $US92 million worldwide on a modest budget of $US4.5 million. Be sure to look back at our interview with the brothers right HERE.
