‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6, Part 3 Trailer Arrives as the Final Showdown Approaches

Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for Cobra Kai‘s final chapter, Season 6, Part 3, offering fans a glimpse at how the long-running saga will come to a close. Take a look at the trailer above and learn more below.

The Endgame Begins

The events of season 6, part 2 left Miyagi-Do reeling after their time at the Sekai Taikai in Spain, where they faced formidable opponents and personal demons. The climactic Episode 10 saw chaos erupt when a student’s death resulted from a brutal brawl spurred by failed drug tests and the actions of a disgraced sensei. Part 3 will explore the fallout as both Miyagi-Do and Cobra Kai reckon with their past while preparing for an uncertain future.

“All the big bads are still in play,” said series co-creator Hayden Schlossberg in an interview with Netflix site Tudum. “You still have Kreese, Silver, Sensei Wolf, Master Kim Da-Eun. Everyone is still on the board. Nothing’s been resolved. We have a lot of fun in store with all the characters left in tatters at the end of Episode 10.”

A Legacy Comes Full Circle

Since its debut, Cobra Kai has built on the legacy of The Karate Kid, reviving classic rivalries and introducing a new generation of fighters to the martial arts drama. With season 6 marking the official end of the show, co-creators Schlossberg, Jon Hurwitz, and Josh Heald reflected on their long-term vision for the story.

“Our Day 1 goal with Cobra Kai has always been to end it on our terms, leaving the Valley in the time and place we’ve always imagined,” they wrote in an open letter to fans. “So it is with immense pride and thankfulness that we are able to announce that achievement. … While this may be a bittersweet day for the fandom, the Miyagiverse has never been stronger.”

The Final Cast and Creative Team

The ensemble cast returns to close out the series, including Ralph Macchio as Daniel LaRusso, William Zabka as Johnny Lawrence, Martin Kove as John Kreese, and Xolo Maridueña as Miguel Diaz. Other key players include Jacob Bertrand as Hawk, Mary Mouser as Samantha LaRusso, Tanner Buchanan as Robby Keene, Peyton List as Tory, and Yuji Okumoto as Chozen.

Behind the scenes, Heald, Hurwitz, and Schlossberg lead the series as executive producers through Counterbalance Entertainment. Other executive producers include Will Smith, James Lassiter, and Caleeb Pinkett for Westbrook Entertainment, as well as Susan Ekins in association with Sony Pictures Television. Macchio and Zabka also serve as executive producers.

The Final Fight Begins

With the end in sight, Zabka has likened the overall final season to a three-part cinematic experience. “The stakes are set at the end of the first five. I think if it was just a movie, it’s a great ending that would beg for a sequel, which fortunately is coming,” he said.

The final five episodes of Cobra Kai season 6 will be available on Netflix from 13 February.
