The official trailer for upcoming Prime Video action-comedy Deep Cover has arrived, showing off a chaotic collision of crime and… improv? The cast is led by Bryce Dallas Howard, Orlando Bloom, and Ted Lasso breakout Nick Mohammed. Take a look above.
Howard plays Kat, an improv coach stuck in a creative rut—until an undercover cop (Sean Bean) offers her the most ridiculous opportunity of her career: infiltrate London’s criminal underworld using her students as fake gangsters. She ropes in two of them—played by Bloom and Mohammed—and the trio soon find themselves in way over their heads. One minute they’re riffing off “yes, and,” the next they’re dodging bullets and botching drug deals.
The film is directed by Tom Kingsley, whose credits include episodes for series such as Doctor Who and This is Going to Hurt. The screenplay comes from Jurassic World collaborators Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly, alongside Ben Ashenden and Alexander Owen. Producers include Trevorrow, Walter F. Parkes, and Laurie MacDonald.
