‘Depp v. Heard’ Trailer: Netflix Docuseries Examines the Infamous Johnny Depp and Amber Heard Trial

To be honest, it’s surprising that it actually took Netflix this long to get this infamous feud to their screens.

The trailer has arrived for Depp v. Heard, a three-part documentary series that, as per Netflix’s description, “examines the infamous defamation case that captured the world’s attention and became the world’s first trial by TikTok. Showing both testimonies side-by-side for the first time, this series explores this global media event, questioning the nature of truth and the role it plays in our modern society.”

The docuseries comes from director Emma Cooper, who previously made Netflix’s 2022 documentary The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe: The Unheard Tapes. Cooper has also directed a number of projects spearheaded by British-American documentarian Louis Theroux.

Depp v. Heard will be streaming on Netflix from August 16th.
