A big second trailer has arrived for George Miller’s highly anticipated prequel Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, with Anya Taylor-Joy in the titular role Charlize Theron inhabited in Mad Max: Fury Road. Watch it above.

This standalone action adventure unveils the origins of Furiosa, who is snatched from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the hands of a great Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus (Chris Hemsworth, looking quite different in the role). Sweeping through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel presided over by The Immortan Joe. While the two Tyrants war for dominance, Furiosa must survive many trials as she puts together the means to find her way home.

Miller stays on his franchise as director and co-writer, penning the screenplay alongside Fury Road co-writer Nico Lathouris. The behind-the-scenes team brings back a number of Fury Road‘s team members, including first assistant director PJ Voeten; second unit director and stunt coordinator Guy Norris; composer Tom Holkenborg; editor Margaret Sixel; editor Eliot Knapman (now a lead editor after being in Fury Road‘s editorial department); visual effects supervisor Andrew Jackson; production designer Colin Gibson; and costume designer Jenny Beavan, among others.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, with a cast that also includes Alyla Browne and Tom Burke, speeds into Australian cinemas on May 23 and US cinemas on May 24.
