Ben Stiller, LeBron James and John Travolta all star together in a newly released commercial for new Santa Monica Studio video game God of War: Ragnarök, a direct sequel to critically acclaimed 2018 game God of War.
The comedic ad has Stiller dressed up as lead God of War character Kratos, complete with beard and facepaint. Stiller, who prefers you call him Kratos when in costume, is giving parenting advice to James, Travolta and their children, teaching how they can strive to be like Kratos and his son, Atreus. Although, considering the far-from-smooth relationship that Kratos and Atreus have in God of War, he may want to rethink that counselling angle.
In God of War: Ragnarök, Fimbulwinter is well underway. Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for a prophesied battle that will end the world. Along the way they will explore stunning, mythical landscapes, and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. The threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer. Kratos and Atreus must choose between their own safety and the safety of the realms.
God of War: Ragnarök is released worldwide on November 9th, for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. Check out the commercial below and, in case you still haven’t seen it or simply want to check it out again, you can watch the game’s official 3-minute story trailer beneath it.
