The official trailer has arrived for Goosebumps: The Vanishing, the second season of the Disney+ anthology series based on the bestselling books by author R.L. Stine.Â
The trailer offers a first look at David Schwimmer as Anthony Brewer, a former botany professor who delves into science and mystery. And by the looks of things… he’s not in for a good time. He’s the father of twins Cece and Devin Brewer, portrayed by Jayden Bartels and Sam McCarthy, who are sent to spend the summer with him in Gravesend, Brooklyn. Things soon take a dark turn as they encounter eerie secrets linked to four teenagers who mysteriously disappeared in 1994. And to make matters worse, Anthony doesn’t quite seem himself. The unfolding events entangle them and their friends Alex, CJ, and Frankie, played by Francesca Noel, Elijah M. Cooper, and Galilea La Salvia, in a chilling mystery.
The series, which continues to draw inspiration from the iconic Goosebumps books, will incorporate elements from popular titles such as Stay Out of the Basement, The Haunted Car, Monster Blood, The Girl Who Cried Monster, The Ghost Next Door, Welcome to Camp Nightmare, and more.
