Netflix

Netflix has released the official trailer for Harry & Meghan, an upcoming docuseries placing more of a spotlight on The Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

The six-episode documentary series explores the clandestine days of their early courtship and the challenges that led to them feeling forced to step back from their full-time roles in the institution. The series includes commentary from the couple’s friends and family, as well as historians discussing the couple’s relationship with the press and the current state of the British Commonwealth. As per Netflix’s description, “the series does more than illuminate one couple’s love story, it paints a picture of our world and how we treat each other.”

The series is directed by Liz Garbus, who earned an Oscar nomination for her 2015 Netflix documentary feature What Happened, Miss Simone?.

The first volume (eps 1-3) of Harry & Meghan will be streaming on Netflix from December 8th. Volume 2 (eps 4-6) arrives on December 15th.
