Take a look at the big official trailer that’s arrived for House of the Dragon‘s second season.
House of the Dragon, based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood” and set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, tells the story of House Targaryen and their devastating conflict of succession. Following the fiery events of season 1, the second season finds the Targaryens and the Hightowers on the verge of all-out war.
The second season’s cast includes returning member Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans, among others.
New additions joining season two include Abubakar Salim as Alyn of Hull; Gayle Rankin as Alys Rivers; Freddie Fox as Ser Gwayne Hightower; Simon Russell Beale as Ser Simon Strong; Clinton Liberty as Addam of Hull; Jamie Kenna as Ser Alfred Broome; Kieran Bew as Hugh; Tom Bennett as Ulf; Tom Taylor as Lord Cregan Stark; and Vincent Regan as Ser Rickard Thorne.
House of the Dragon season 2 will premiere on Max in the US on June 16th and Binge in Australia on June 17th.
