The teaser trailer has been released for upcoming Netflix feature Hustle, a sports drama led by Adam Sandler and produced by NBA star LeBron James.

The plot follows a former coach and now down-on-his-luck basketball scout (Sandler) whose career has suffered due to a rocky past abroad. A chance at redemption and another shot at the big time arrives with a talented basketball player (played by Juancho Hernangómez, a professional Spanish player currently with the Utah Jazz) he discovers in Spain. Despite not having approval, he decides to take it upon himself to bring the phenom to the States. Together, they have one final shot to prove they have what it takes to make it in the NBA.

It’s great to see Sandler in another dramatic turn so soon after his fantastic performance in the Safdie brothers’ fantastic 2020 Netflix release, Uncut Gems. This potential winner marks the sophomore feature for director Jeremiah Zagar, who made his debut with 2018 coming-of-age picture We the Animals. Oscar-nominated A Star is Born co-writer Will Fetters penned the script with Taylor Materne. Sandler is also on board as executive producer.

Hustle, also boasting a strong supporting cast with Queen Latifah, Ben Foster, and Robert Duvall, will be streaming on Netflix from June 10th.
