The trailer has arrived for survival drama Infinite Storm, starring Naomi Watts and Billy Howle.
The film is based on the true story of experienced climber Pam Bales (Watts) and what unfolded when, during a solo hike in October 2010, she discovered a stranded man (Howle) on a mountain – just as a huge blizzard approached. Bales put in her all, determined to help this man off the mountain before nightfall.
It’s an interesting real-life story that touches on elements of courage and mental health. If you’re interested to know more, Bales wrote this article about her experience and a more detailed, intricate write-up on what occurred was penned by writer Ty Gagne right HERE.
The film is directed by Polish helmer Małgorzata Szumowska, whose credits include surreal 2020 dramedy Never Gonna Snow Again, 2019 cult drama The Other Lamb, and 2013 priest drama In the Name Of. This is the first produced screenplay for writer Joshua Rollins.
Infinite Storm, also starring Denis O’Hare and Parker Sawyers, will be opening in U.S. cinemas on March 25th.
