The Reel Word scored an interview with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles producers Andrew Form and Bradley Fuller on the Sydney leg of their massive press tour. The duo talked about the film’s early success at the box office, what about the film translates well throughout the world, not being able to test the film before release, completing post-production so close to the film’s opening date, having TMNT creator Kevin Eastman on board, the pros and cons associated with internet “critics,” and what characters we can expect to see in the upcoming sequel.

Darkness has settled over New York City as Shredder and his evil Foot Clan have an iron grip on everything from the police to the politicians. The future is grim until four unlikely outcast brothers rise from the sewers and discover their destiny as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The Turtles must work with fearless reporter April O’Neil and her cameraman Vern Fenwick to save the city and unravel Shredder’s diabolical plan.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is currently in cinemas in the U.S., with an official Australian opening set for September 11. The U.K. will see the film hit cinemas on October 17.
