The trailer has arrived for Knock at the Cabin, the latest from filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable, Split).

It’s a home-invasion thriller, but since it’s a Shyamalan film, it appears to be a lot more than a tale of baddies in the house. The plot follows a young girl (newcomer Kristen Cui) and her parents (played by Jonathan Groff and Ben Aldridge), who are taken hostage while vacationing at a remote cabin. The four armed strangers, led by Leonard (Dave Bautista), demand that the family make an unthinkable choice to avert… the apocalypse. With limited access to the outside world, the family must decide what they believe before all is lost.

Shyamalan also wrote the screenplay with Steve Desmond & Michael Sherman, based on the 2018 book The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay. The cast also includes Nikki Amuka-Bird, Abby Quinn and Rupert Grint.

Knock at the Cabin will be in Australian cinemas on February 2nd and U.S. cinemas on February 3rd, 2023.
